Rohr Material Handling
"During fiscal 1975, Rohr received a contract to install a multi-million dollar high rise storage and retrieval system for Shell Oil Company at their Wilmington, California, refinery (Rohr, 1975, page 12).
SCAMPTM handles up to 500-pound loads. The first SCAMPTM system was accepted by the United States Navy at its Alameda, California repair facility. Automove can handle up to 10,000 pound loads (Rohr, 1975, page 12, 13).
